RESEARCH: butterfly animation

The outcome for this element of the project was to create the most naturalistic butterfly animation possible within the alocated time.

The process used to create the butterfly

Step 1. Separate(split) the frames from the gif using Gif frame extractor ( https://ezgif.com/maker )
Step 2. Download each of the frames as seen below
Step 3. remove any space from the background in each frame using adobe photo shop. This is labour intensive but required.

Step 4. import each of the frames back into Gif maker  ( https://ezgif.com/maker ) making sure that you tick 'clear frame'. For this project different speeds of wings were used

10 millisecond animation speed
5 millisecond animation speed (this was the final chosen speed)
